West Huntspill WI celebrate 100 years

West Huntspill Womens Institute celebrate thier 100 year anniversary by planting a Crab Apple Tree on the village Common.

Retirement - Janet Hockaday

After 20 years of Service to the Parish Council. Janet Hockaday has sadly retired as the Pavilion Cleaner. We wish Janet all the best for the future, she will be greatly missed.

Life Saving Skills Event and Defribrillator

West Huntspill Parish Council have recently recieved a grant towards a defribillator for the village from the British Heart Foundation. This has been postioned outside the Crossways Public House, Withy Road.

A CPR event was held at the Balliol Hall in April to train local people life saving skils and how to use the Debfrillator. There will hopefully be more training shortly.
